We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to manage the end-to‑end logistics, procurement, and inventory workflows supporting our operations in Norway. As our footprint expands—including critical facilities such as our data centers—maintaining a seamless, predictable, and compliant supply chain is vital to our success. In this role, you will be the operational spine of our supply chain activities. You will coordinate closely with suppliers, logistics partners, site managers, and local vendors to ensure equipment, spare parts, and operational materials arrive on time and within budget. You will play a hands‑on role in organizing inventory records, streamlining customs clearance processes, and optimizing vendor workflows across all Norwegian locations.

What You’ll be Doing

Logistics & Shipment Coordination: Plan, schedule, and track domestic and international freight (inbound and outbound), ensuring timely delivery to our Oslo headquarters and regional sites.

Procurement Support & Purchase Orders: Issue purchase orders (POs), review supplier confirmations, track delivery dates, and follow up on delayed shipments or discrepancies.

Vendor & Supplier Management: Serve as a daily point of contact for logistics providers, local hardware vendors, and service contractors. Evaluate vendor performance on lead times, pricing, and reliability.

Inventory & Asset Tracking: Maintain accurate inventory records, track spare parts levels across locations, and conduct regular reconciliations between physical stock and system records.

Customs & Import/Export Compliance: Coordinate necessary shipping documentation, customs clearance papers, and tax/VAT declarations for international shipments entering Norway.

Cross Departmental Collaboration: Partner closely with internal technical, site operations, and finance teams to anticipate hardware needs, plan lead times, and align invoice processing with received goods.

About You (Skills / Qualifications)
Experience & Education

Relevant Experience: 4+ years of practical experience in supply chain, logistics coordination, procurement, or inventory management within Norway.

Education: Degree or vocational certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (relevant practical experience is highly valued).

Technical & Operational Skills

ERP & Logistics Software: Practical experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics 365) and ticketing/inventory tools.

Customs & Trade Familiarity: Solid grasp of Norwegian import/export regulations, IncoTerms, and customs documentation requirements.

Data & Tool Proficiency: Strong Excel/data analysis skills for tracking shipments, auditing inventory levels, and reviewing supplier invoices.

Core Traits & Languages

Languages: Professional fluency in English.

High Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills—you catch small discrepancies in POs, shipping manifests, or inventory counts before they become costly problems.

Problem‑Solver: Able to adapt quickly when logistics delays, freight disruptions, or missing shipments occur, finding fast alternative solutions to keep site operations running.
