Job summary

Nscale, based in Stavanger, is hiring an Infrastructure Support Operations Operator to support the day-to-day operation and reliability of our AI data centre infrastructure. This is a hands-on, shift-based role requiring on-call readiness and occasional travel to other Nscale data centres.

You will own operational issues, respond to incidents, mentor junior operators, coordinate with vendors, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and runbooks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data centre operations.
• Solid understanding of data centre operations, server hardware, and networking.
• Experience in SLA-governed operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of AI data centre infrastructure.
• Monitor SLAs and ensure service delivery.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Lead incident response and drive to resolution.
• Mentor junior operators and share knowledge.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware maintenance.
• Contribute to runbooks and documentation.
