Job summary

Nscale is hiring an Infrastructure Support Operations Operator to manage day-to-day operation and reliability of AI data centre infrastructure. This hands-on role combines technical troubleshooting with strong people skills, owning operational issues, responding to incidents, supporting customers, and helping ensure service levels are met.

The role includes mentoring junior operators, coordinating with vendors, and contributing to process improvements and runbooks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data centre operations or similar
• Strong understanding of data centre operations, server hardware, and networking
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems
• Experience with SLA-driven operational environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and support incident response activities, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and infrastructure teams during critical incidents.
• Mentor and train junior operators, helping develop their technical capabilities.
• Create and maintain accurate operational documentation and runbooks.
• Support hardware installation, maintenance, and break-fix activities.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of mission-critical infrastructure.
