Job summary

Nscale is seeking an Infrastructure Support Operations Operator to ensure reliable AI data centre infrastructure. You will own operational issues, respond to incidents, and support customers while maintaining service levels with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

The role includes mentoring junior operators, coordinating with vendors, and documenting processes. It is a full-time shift-based position with roughly 25% travel to other Nscale data centres when needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data centre or infrastructure operations with hands-on technical focus.
• Strong ability to diagnose complex problems and coordinate resolutions.
• Experience operating under SLAs and service management processes.
• Proactive mentor for junior operators and collaborative team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor day-to-day data centre infrastructure to meet SLAs.
• Lead incident response, troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for breaks-fix and maintenance.
• Mentor junior operators and share best practices and runbooks.
• Document processes, improve workflows, and participate in on-call rotations.
