Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Manager to oversee all devices and infrastructure in the AI Data Center, ensuring 24/7 reliability and high performance for GPU workloads. You will lead a team, manage client SLAs, and coordinate vendor relationships to deliver reliable, scalable operations.

The role requires strong HPC/GPU expertise, proactive environmental management, and hands-on leadership across teams and sites, including travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing data centers, particularly in HPC and GPU environments.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
• Technical expertise in HPC, GPU deployment, and hardware/software solutions.
• Strong understanding of power, cooling, and environmental systems in data centers.
• Excellent client-facing communication and reporting skills.
• Experience with inventory and spare parts management.

Responsibilities

• Overall accountability for data center devices, systems, and infrastructure.
• Ensure 24/7 operational reliability for high‑performance AI workloads.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of HPC and GPU systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff.
• Plan shift schedules and ensure on-call availability.
• Serve as primary POC for clients with regular SLA/KPI reporting.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to minimize downtime.
• Stay updated on AI/HPC trends and improve reliability.
