Job summary

Hotelprofessionals - De Plesman zoekt een parttime facilitair medewerker voor het inrichten van vergaderruimtes en evenementen in Den Haag. Je plaatst meubilair volgens de gewenste opstelling en zorgt dat ruimtes schoon en voorbereid zijn voor gasten.

Je werkt avonduren meestal tussen 17:00 en 20:00, met mogelijkheden tot uitbreiding naar 20:00-23:00. Een jonge, dynamische teamcultuur staat centraal, met mogelijkheden voor ontwikkeling en teamactiviteiten.

Qualifications

• Geen minimale opleiding vereist
• Beheersing van de Engelse taal is gewenst

Responsibilities

• Rijen en opstelling van zalen voor meetings, conferenties en evenementen
• Tafels, stoelen en meubilair plaatsen volgens de gewenste opstelling
• Zorg dat de vergaderruimtes schoon, netjes en voorbereid zijn voor aankomst van gasten
• Ondersteun het team met overige facilitaire en evenement-gerelateerde taken

De Plesman is a boutique hotel in The Hague, proudly awarded a Michelin Key and located in the former KLM headquarters, honoring aviation pioneer Albert Plesman. The building’s history is reflected in every detail, from its architecture to its hospitality. Guests can enjoy an amazing dinner at Restaurant Suus, named after Plesman’s wife, or enjoy a drink and relax at Albert Bar, named after Albert Plesman himself. A dynamic spot between the dunes and the city where The Hague’s heritage comes to life.

What will you be doing?

• Set up and arrange rooms for meetings, conferences, and events;

• Place tables, chairs, and other furniture according to the required layout;

• Ensure meeting rooms are clean, tidy, and fully prepared before guests arrive;

• Support the team with other general facility and event-related tasks when needed;

Small print:

• You are physically fit and comfortable with lifting and moving tables, chairs, and other furniture;

• You are available for a part-time position (0-hour contract), and you must be willing to work average 2-3 evenings a week;

• Available during evening hours, typically from 17:00 to 20:00, Flexible working hours are possible, for example 20:00 to 23:00. You are occasionally available for a few hours on Saturday or Sunday afternoon;

• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for presentation;

• A preference for someone between the ages of 16 and 20;

• Flexible availability is appreciated;
