Job summary

De Plesman is a boutique hotel in The Hague, proudly awarded a Michelin Key and located in the former KLM headquarters, honouring aviation pioneer Albert Plesman. The role focuses on delivering exceptional breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner experiences.

This is a parttime, 0‑hour contract with the intention to extend if we are happy with the collaboration. Fluency in Dutch is required; English is a plus. You’ll join a young, dynamic team and enjoy staff activities and hotel discounts.

Qualifications

• You speak Dutch fluently (this is a must) and English is a plus.
• 0–1 years of experience in a similar role is preferred; background in a 4/5 star hotel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with exceptional breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner experiences.
• Take orders, provide menu information, deliver service and handle bill settlements.
• Assist Food & Beverage team with mise en place, setup and service for events and meetings.

Guests can enjoy an amazing dinner at Restaurant Suus, named after Plesman’s wife, or enjoy a drink and relax at Albert Bar, named after Albert Plesman himself. What will you be doing?

• Providing our guests with exceptional breakfast, lunch,brunchand dinner experiences.
• In thisrole, you will take orders, provide information about the menu and dishes, deliver excellentserviceand handle the settling of bills.
• You will carry out preparation of service, such as miseenplace andassistthe Food & Beverage team of the hotel with set up and service of events and meetings.

Small print:

• Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
• You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague
