Job summary

De Plesman is een boetiekhotel in Den Haag, Michelin Key en gevestigd in het voormalige KLM-hoofdkwartier. Gasten genieten bij Restaurant Suus en Albert Bar; De Plesman ademt historie en gastvrijheid vanuit elke hoek.

We zoeken iemand die meegroeit in hospitality en ervoor zorgt dat elke gast met een stralende glimlach vertrekt. Je hebt 1–2 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare rol, spreekt Nederlands en Engels is prettig.

Qualifications

• Er is geen minimumopleiding vereist.
• Je beheerst Engels.

Responsibilities

• Zorgen dat gasten de dag beginnen met een glimlach.
• Ontbreide ontbijtbuffet-items aanvullen.
• Het ontbijtgedeelte schoon en netjes houden tijdens de service.
• Coördineren met de keuken en feedback van gasten doorgeven.
• Andere food & beverage-gerelateerde taken ondersteunen.
• Uitstekende service leveren en een gastvrije sfeer handhaven.
• Assisteren bij en deelnemen aan à la carte lunchservice.

De Plesman is a boutique hotel in The Hague, proudly awarded a Michelin Key and located in the former KLM headquarters, honouring aviation pioneer Albert Plesman. The building’s history is reflected in every detail, from its architecture to its hospitality. Guests can enjoy an amazing dinner at Restaurant Suus, named after Plesman’s wife, or enjoy a drink and relax at Albert Bar, named after Albert Plesman himself. A dynamic spot between the dunes and the city where The Hague’s heritage comes to life.

What will you be doing?

• Make sure that the guest start their day with a smile;
• Ensure breakfast buffet items are refilled;
• Keep the breakfast area clean and tidy throughout service hours;
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and relay guest feedback;
• Support other food and beverage-related tasks as required;
• Provide excellent service to guests, addressing their needs and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
• Assist with and participate in à la carte lunch service;

Small print

• You have 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar role. Background in a 4/5 star hotel is a great addition and a plus.
• Flexibility to work morning shifts (starting 06:00 AM or 07:00 AM), including weekends and holidays
• You speak Dutch fluently and English is a strong plus
• You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague
