Job summary

De Plesman in Den Haag zoekt een flexibele medewerker om zalen en vergaderruimtes operationeel te maken. Je bereidt ruimtes voor, zet tafels en stoelen volgens de opstelling en zorgt voor netheid voordat gasten arriveren.

Je werkt vooral in avonden, bent fysiek fit en werkt graag in teamverband. Er is ruimte voor een 0-uren contract met gemiddeld 2–3 avonden per week, met mogelijke variatie in uren.

Qualifications

• Fysiek fit voor tillen en verplaatsen van meubels.
• Beschikbaar voor een parttime 0-uren contract, gemiddeld 2–3 avonden per week.
• Beschikbaar tijdens avonden, meestal van 17:00 tot 20:00, met ruimte voor 20:00–23:00.
• Let op details zoals presentatie en oog voor netheid.
• Een leeftijd tussen 16 en 20 jaar wordt gewenst.

Responsibilities

• Zet zalen op en maak ruimtes klaar voor vergaderingen, conferenties en evenementen.
• Plaats tafels, stoelen en meubels volgens de vereiste opstelling.
• Zorg dat vergaderzalen schoon, opgeruimd en klaar zijn bij aankomst van gasten.
• Ondersteun het team met overige facilitaire- en evenement-gerelateerde taken.

De Plesman is a boutique hotel in The Hague, proudly awarded a Michelin Key and located in the former KLM headquarters, honoring aviation pioneer Albert Plesman. The building’s history is reflected in every detail, from its architecture to its hospitality. Guests can enjoy an amazing dinner at Restaurant Suus, named after Plesman’s wife, or enjoy a drink and relax at Albert Bar, named after Albert Plesman himself. What will you be doing?

• Set up and arrange rooms for meetings, conferences, and events;
• Place tables, chairs, and other furniture according to the required layout;
• Ensure meeting rooms are clean, tidy, and fully prepared before guests arrive;
• Support the team with other general facility and event-related tasks when needed;

Small Print

• You are physically fit and comfortable with lifting and moving tables, chairs, and other furniture;
• You are available for a part-time position (0-hour contract), and you must be willing to work average 2 – 3 evenings a week;
• Available during evening hours, typically from 17:00 to 20:00, Flexible working hours are possible, for example 20:00 to 23:00. You are occasionally available for a few hours on Saturday or Sunday afternoon;
• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for presentation;
• A preference for someone between the ages of 16 and 20;
• Flexible availability is appreciated;
