Job summary

Een boutique hotel in Amsterdam zoekt een enthousiaste receptionist. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het in- en uitchecken van gasten, het geven van informatie en klachtenafhandeling. Je moet 24-32 uur per week beschikbaar zijn en goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels beheersen. Ervaring in een receptie is een pluspunt. De functie biedt een parttime contract en de mogelijkheid om te werken in een luxe maar huiselijke omgeving.

Responsibilities

• Inchecken en uitchecken van hotelgasten.
• Informatie geven aan gasten.
• Beheer van de telefooncentrale.
• Afhandelen van vragen en klachten.
• Emails verwerken en reserveringen boeken.
• Drankjes en snacks serveren aan gasten.
• Zorg dragen voor de veiligheid van hotelgasten.

We are looking for an enthusiastic receptionist, are you the person who likes to unburden and likes to help people? Then we have the perfect position open!

What you will do:

• Check in and out of hotel guests.
• Giving information.
• Operating the telephone exchange.
• Answering questions and any complaints.
• Processing emails.
• Booking reservations in the system.
• Serving drinks and snacks to hotel guests.
• Ensuring the safety of our hotel guests, signaling irregularities and guiding hotel guests in emergency situations.
• Checkout closure and other administrative actions.
• All other occurring activities.
• Taking care of the reception desk and the lobby.

The Delphi Amsterdam Townhouse is a boutique hotel with 50 rooms, each with its own identity. We exude luxury but with an amicable and homely atmosphere. As soon as you enter the neighborhood you will see all the splendor of the Apollolaan and around the corner are the luxurious Beethovenstraat and Cornelis Schuyt. In short, a nice neighborhood to work in, but also to stay in as a guest!

What we are looking for:

• Someone who is available 24-32 hours a week.
• living comfortably in Amsterdam or the immediate vicinity.
• Reception experience is a plus, owned by BHV.
• Representative appearance.
• Good mastery of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
• Flexible, motivated, positive.
• Very guest and solution oriented.
• MBO or higher level of thinking.

Hourly wage is in accordance with the catering collective agreement.
