Job summary

GXO ServiceTech in Dordrecht is building a flagship repair workshop and seeks an Operations Manager to lead a hands-on team through the entire repair lifecycle. You will monitor KPIs, drive Lean/5S improvements, and maintain a strong focus on quality, output, and profitability.

You will coordinate with Planning, HR, Finance, QESH and customers, ensuring a safe, efficient and compliant operation while mentoring supervisors and shaping the future of GXO ServiceTech in the BeNe region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an operations manager or similar leadership role.
• Experience in a service/repair/technical environment or fast-paced warehouse is preferred.
• Full-time availability (38 hours) – Mon to Fri 8:00–17:00.
• Experience managing supervisors/team leads.
• Proven experience working with KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a hands-on operations team for a brand-new repair workshop.
• Oversee end-to-end repair process: receipt, diagnosis, repair, return; monitor SLAs and KPIs.
• Provide leadership, coaching and performance management for the team.
• Develop and mentor team leads; foster ownership with a non-hierarchical style.
• Drive data-driven improvements and Lean/5S in workflow and layout.
• Act as operations contact for internal departments and external customers.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
