Job summary

Avance Consulting is seeking a Windows OS support specialist for a hybrid role in the Netherlands. You will maintain desktops, laptops, and Cloud PC images for about 3,000 workstations, building strong client relationships and ensuring reliable workplace services.

Responsibilities include user support across channels, L1 ticket handling, incident management, root cause analysis, and using Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, and Apple Business Manager to manage devices and deploy apps.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with device management tools such as Intune, SCCM, Autopilot.
• Strong communication across multiple channels (phone, email, web).

Responsibilities

• Provide user support via phone, email, voicemail, web interface, and other channels.
• Take over warm-transferred calls from L1 per processes.
• Handle L1 tickets and identify shift-left opportunities.
• Follow incident management work instructions and escalation procedures.
• Manage high-priority incidents per established procedures.
• Liaise with L3 resolution groups when necessary.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis as part of Problem Management.
• Manage device and endpoint management using Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, and Apple Business Manager.
• Install applications and troubleshoot via SCCM and Intune.
• Ensure compatibility of packaged apps with Windows versions.
• Configure and apply Group Policy settings (GPO) and system updates.
• Use scripts to manage Windows settings, policies, and security.
• Manage secure storage and distribution of signing keys.
• Provide printer support to end-users.
• Perform patch management and software distribution.

Job Mode: Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in a week

Purpose of this role:

Support, maintenance, and ongoing development of Windows OS (10/11) for desktops, laptops, and AVD/Cloud PC in an office environment comprising approximately 3,000 workstations. Building a strong, solid client relationship to ensure the client has confidence in the workplace services provided.
