Job summary

WLG is seeking a Windows estate administrator in The Hague to keep the environment healthy and reliable. You will be the go-to person whenever Microsoft-related issues arise and you will automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell and configuration management tools.

The role involves maintaining a broad Windows environment, updating systems, and bringing new services into operation. Strong English and documentation habits are essential; hybrid work flexibility is available where feasible.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on administration of Windows and Windows Server in a large organisation and the Microsoft stack.
• Real scripting ability in PowerShell and automation tooling such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Comfortable troubleshooting Windows servers and end-user devices under time pressure.
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud platforms is beneficial.
• Professional English and documentation of changes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the family of Windows environments behind one service line.
• Act as the reference point for Windows Server and Microsoft tooling, including update and configuration management.
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to remove repetitive work and ensure machine consistency.
• Root-cause analysis when systems misbehave and clear communication of findings.
• Onboard new services and improve existing ones.
