Job summary

Arvato in the Netherlands is hiring an Assistant Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations in a highly automated setting. You will lead a team of 20–30 staff and line leads, coordinating shifts and ensuring priorities are clear while reporting to the Supervisor.

The role blends leadership with hands-on control, enabling you to monitor KPIs, optimize workflows, and contribute to continuous improvement within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• MBO level or similar qualification required.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics or a similar role.
• Experience in warehouse or production environments.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Excel.
• Good command of the English language.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Strong coordination skills with an overview perspective.
• Proactive, decisive and focused on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities and divide work during stand-ups.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 20–30 staff and line leads.
• Create and adjust daily planning based on volumes and staffing.
• Monitor KPIs and act on deviations.
• Prepare daily reports and share insights with the Supervisor.
