Job summary

Arvato in Venlo, Limburg, is seeking an Assistant Supervisor to co-manage the daily warehouse operation with a 20–30 person team. You will drive process improvements, ensure clear daily goals, and report to the Supervisor.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong coordination, and a drive to grow within a dynamic logistics environment. A structured, safety-focused professional is preferred.

Qualifications

• MBO level of education or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role within logistics.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems and Excel is a plus.

YOUR ROLE

As an Assistant Supervisor, you are co-responsible for the daily warehouse operation. You ensure processes run smoothly and that your team clearly understands the daily goals and priorities.

You will manage a team of 20 to 30 warehouse employees, including pickers, packers and line leads, and report directly to the Supervisor.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating daily warehouse activities on the floor
• Coaching, guiding and motivating team members and line leads
• Creating daily workforce planning based on volumes and staffing
• Monitoring KPIs such as productivity and quality
• Identifying bottlenecks and taking action when needed
• Contributing to continuous improvement of warehouse processes
• Ensuring a safe, structured and efficient working environment

You work in a dynamic environment where volumes and priorities can change quickly. This makes your role varied and challenging and requires you to maintain a clear overview of the operation.

A gross monthly salary between €2,607 – €3,349 based on 40 hours, depending on experience
