Job summary

DSV is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead for Amsterdam on dayshift. You will work with another team lead to keep the warehouse running smoothly, coach your team and drive quality, productivity and continuous improvement.

You will oversee inbound and outbound operations, monitor daily performance, and coach your team to succeed while maintaining safety, accuracy and efficiency. English is required; Dutch is a plus, and CargoWRITE experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience leading warehouse teams.
• Experience with inbound/outbound operations and KPI monitoring.
• Fluent in English; Dutch preferred.
• Knowledge of WMS CargoWRITE is a plus.

How you do this? You understand the dynamics of a warehouse and know what it takes to help a team succeed. As a team lead, you oversee both inbound and outbound operations, monitor daily performance, and coach your team to get the best out of every individual. You keep a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity, ensuring every order is completed accurately and shipped on time. You achieve this by:

• coordinating daily operational activities during the morning Blue Box team briefing;
• keeping our Customer Service team informed about the previous day's performance and the day's operational priorities;
• monitoring productivity across the warehouse and proactively identifying and resolving operational issues;
• contributing to projects that continuously improve our logistics processes and ways of working;
• actively monitoring KPIs and ensuring operational targets are achieved;
• working with our WMS (CargoWRITE) and handling a variety of people-related administrative tasks.

You bring

• an energetic work attitude and a fresh perspective, you are not afraid to address challenges head-on and are driven by results;
• at least 2 years of experience as a warehouse team lead or similar role, with a strong sense of responsibility;
• strong command of English, and preferably Dutch;
• tactic social skills and inspiration, you can manage teams towards targets and have a positive mindset.

• a salary in accordance with the DSV Solutions collective labor agreement and based on your knowledge and expertise, with a range of €2.751,57 to €3.632,40 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week;
• work in day shifts, alternating weekly between 07.00 hours to 16.00 hours and 09.00 hours to 18.00 hours within a professional yet informal environment where your voice truly makes a difference;
• 24 vacation days, 4 additional leave days, and 8% holiday pay;
• a favorable pension plan, with part of the premium being paid for and your own contribution at 5%;
