Job summary

DSV Maastricht Airport is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead a small, dedicated team and drive reliable, on-time performance in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will coach and develop team leaders, monitor productivity and quality, and collaborate with other departments to optimize processes while ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, Dutch and English communication, and a pragmatic, solution-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Has strong leadership experience, preferably in a logistics 3PL environment.
• Willingness to coach and develop team leaders/supervisors.
• Ability to monitor processes, KPIs and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication at all levels in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3–5 colleagues under supervision of team leaders/supervisors.

How you do this?

As a warehouse manager, you are a key link in our logistics process. Together with your team, you work towards meeting productivity standards, time and quality requirements, and adhering to procedures and regulations. You manage team leaders/supervisors who technically supervise teams of 3 to 5 colleagues. You are not only a leader but also a coach. You guide and motivate your team members, conduct performance and evaluation interviews, and ensure a pleasant working atmosphere. You achieve this by:

• monitoring and overseeing the execution of processes and coordinating with other internal departments;
• thinking proactively about process improvements;
• providing management information based on pre-agreed targets/KPIs;
• leading, coaching, and guiding your team.

You bring

• a strong personality and know how to lead teams effectively;
• have a passion for logistics and are able to convey this enthusiasm to others;
• have a structured and solution-oriented working approach;
• have solid experience in a leadership role, preferably within a logistics 3PL environment;
• some experience with logistics automation;
• communication skills at all levels, in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
