Job summary

Swapfiets is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator for our Den Bosch location. You will play a key role in logistics, stock control, and daily bike handling, ensuring bikes reach stores on time and in good condition.

The role requires a valid EU B license, driving experience, and strong attention to safety and efficiency. You will be part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and city/country moves.

Qualifications

• Valid EU driver’s license (B).
• Proven driving experience and safe driving record.
• Good traffic awareness and knowledge of city routes.
• Affinity with bikes and service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics and deliveries of (E-)Bikes between the warehouse and store locations per HQ planning.
• Oversee inbound/outbound deliveries, including loading/unloading bikes with proper documentation and waste disposal.
• Unpack, clean and prep inventory of bikes for Ready-to-Go.
• Prepare spare parts and manage spare parts for stores and fleet.
• Maintain vehicle and keys, including battery management.
• Support warehouse upkeep, cleaning, organization, and storage tasks.
• Organize bike inflow/outflow and prep for mechanics; handle special cases (status/location/key issues).
• Responsible for waste management.

As a logistics operator, you are an essential part of Swapfiets's logistics operation. Besides being an expert in the field of logistics, stock management and safety, you are also the one who ensures that our bicycles are delivered according to the Swapfiets standard. Overview and safety are your top priorities. You also see cycling as the solution for a sustainable future!

How you pedal us forward!

• Manage the logistics and deliveries of the (E-)Bikes between the warehouse and the store locations based on the planning of the Logistics Department at HQ.
• Oversee inbound and outbound deliveries, including loading and unloading of (E-)Bikes from trucks (incl. proper documentation and waste disposal);
• Unpacking, cleaning and making the inventory (E-)Bikes Ready-to-Go;
• Preparation of spare parts including unpacking/checking parts deliveries, and taking care of spare parts for retail stores and fleet.
• Keep the vehicle representative (holding tools complete, cleaning and washing the truck)
• Helps with up-keeping, cleaning, handling, storing and organization tasks within Warehouse;
• Management keys, including ordering and organizing spare keys + battery management
• Organizing broken inflow and pre-organizing B(E-)Bikes for mechanics and take care of special cases (status (HOK)/location (HOK)/without key/etc.);
• Responsible for waste management.

The gear you need!

• Driver’s licence B that is valid in the EU;
• You have driving experience and are a good driver;
• You have good traffic insight and know your way around the city;
• You have affinity with bikes and service;
• Available to work a minimum of38hours per week on weekdays;
• Understand and speak English and/or Dutch;
• Whether working independently or as part of a team, you always work successfully!;
