Job summary

Matchable, Amsterdam-based, is hiring a Junior Account Executive to own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, targeting trainers and clubs.

You will outreach via phone, email, DM and LinkedIn, demonstrate the product, onboard new clients, and collaborate with the Head Account Manager. Dutch-speaking, English friendly, 0–2 years experience, eager to learn in a fast-growing sports marketplace.

Junior Account Executive Amsterdam (32-40 hours)

We're growing fast and looking for someone to help us get more trainers and clubs on board. We're looking for a Dutch-speaking (Junior) Account Executive to join our team.

The role

As a (Junior) Account Executive you own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close:

• Finding Dutch leads via Instagram, Maps, LinkedIn and existing Matchable partners
• Outreach via phone, email, DM and LinkedIn
• Giving demos and closing deals (average cycle is 1–4 weeks)
• Onboarding new clients and making sure they actually start using Matchable
• Working closely with your sales colleagues and Head Account Manager Daan

You'll work across five target groups: freelance trainers, racquet clubs, gyms and studios, academies and event organisers. No two conversations are the same and you'll get to know the sports industry from every angle.

Who We're Looking For

• 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development or a similar role — Bachelor's or Master's level thinking and working
• Fluent in Dutch and confident in English
• A healthy dose of enthusiasm — you're the face of Matchable in most conversations
• Proactive and accountable — as an AE your success is in your own hands, and mindset matters
• Comfortable with tech and software — it's not rocket science, but a solid basic understanding helps
• Affinity with sport or the sports industry is a big plus
• Someone who thinks along about the future of Matchable — you're joining a small team, which means your input actually counts
