Job summary

Hiab is seeking an experienced Vice President for the Forestry & Recycling Business Unit to own strategy, operations, and P&L across Europe. This leadership role demands a clear vision, strong execution, and a track record of growth in a global matrix.

You will shape long-term roadmaps, build leadership pipelines, and drive innovation with internal and external partners while traveling frequently.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven success leading large teams with P&L responsibility.
• Experience driving Lean and continuous improvement.
• Excellent English communication in a global matrix.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term strategic roadmap for the Forestry & Recycling BU with full P&L accountability.
• Build leadership pipelines by mentoring and developing top talent for medium- and long-term growth.
• Develop scalable R&D, production, and technology platforms as core differentiators.
• Lead joint research with internal divisions, academic institutions, and industry partners.
• Secure governmental funding and tax incentives related to innovation where possible.
• Prioritize BU projects using clear business cases and governance.
