Job summary

Arvato in the Netherlands is seeking a Transport Billing Administrator to support transport control by checking invoices, managing data and documenting discrepancies. You will work with colleagues and carriers to keep administration accurate and issues resolved in a timely manner.

You will compare invoices, rates and surcharges with agreements, use Excel to organize information and maintain up-to-date records, while seeking opportunities to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, logistics, transport, invoice processing or a similar role.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, including formulas, filters and data handling.
• Confidence working with large volumes of information and maintaining accurate records.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and follow up on multiple tasks.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently on routine tasks.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken; Dutch is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and improve administrative processes.
• A practical and analytical approach to solving routine issues.

Responsibilities

• Checking transport invoices, rates and surcharges against agreements and rate cards, and identifying errors or inconsistencies.
• Maintaining Excel control files, organizing large volumes of data and ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
• Tracking corrections, outstanding issues and credit notes, and following up until items are closed.
• Documenting discrepancies, gathering supporting information and coordinating routine queries with carriers and internal stakeholders.
• Following established procedures and identifying opportunities to improve administrative workflows and communication.
