Job summary

KVE is seeking a Project Manager to drive the development and industrialization of induction welding for thermoplastic composites in aerospace. You will set up and manage projects around welding tooling, support materials and process qualification, and develop prototypes or demonstrators while ensuring timelines and budgets.

You will lead international initiatives, including European funded projects, and bridge internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BSc / MSc / BEng Degree in Aerospace, Chemistry, Material Science, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering
• Solid experience in project management in a technical environment, preferably in the aerospace market
• 5-10 years working experience, at least 3 years in project management
• Experience with thermoplastic composites or polymers is an advantage
• Excellent command of English and Dutch. French would a great addition
• You have a Dutch permit

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage projects related to the optimization of the welding tooling, support material and process qualification
• Develop prototypes or demonstrators
• Take the lead in international projects and ensure the project stays within budget and time schedule
• Involve in design to product manufacturing for product development projects using induction welding
