Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturing company in The Hague seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Composite Development. In this role, you will design composite products and prepare them for manufacturing while ensuring effective communication within engineering and cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of technical experience, with a passion for composites and aerospace.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years working experience in a technical environment.
  • Experience in design and composite manufacturing.
  • EN 9100 quality knowledge standard is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English, Dutch and/or French is a plus.
  • Permit to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • Design composite products such as radomes, rotor blades or special composite products.
  • Develop and prepare products for manufacturing.
  • Prepare and perform test plans, and analyze results.
  • Support Production for problem solving or continuous improvement.
  • Propose efficient and innovative technical solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between Engineering and other departments.

Manufacturing Engineer Composite Development

KVE The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands

Are you excited about composites and creating products and solutions? Join KVE to help us develop products such as radomes, rotor blades and aircraft components using various composite manufacturing processes.

In your role as manufacturing engineer, you are the technical responsible in various projects, especially within the product realization phase. Your focus will be to design composite products, develop and prepare products for manufacturing, design tooling and perform prototyping. Depending on project size and your experience, you will execute a complete project by yourself or be part of an engineering team.

Your Mission

Being a key member of our engineering team, you will:

  • Design composite products such as radomes, rotor blades or special composite products
  • Develop and prepare products for manufacturing: tooling design, production documentation, prototyping
  • Prepare, perform test plan, report and analyse the results to qualify or certify the parts
  • Support Production for problem solving or continuous improvement
  • Actively propose efficient and innovative technical solutions
  • Facilitate effective communication between Engineering and other departments (Programs, Production, Quality, Supply Chain)
  • Adopt best practices and work according to documentation standards
  • Perform technological surveys (competitors and suppliers) to secure the supply chain

You have a passion for composites and/or aerospace! You have hands‑on experience, a can‑do mentality, are a true team player and know what it takes to meet customer expectations.

  • BSc / MSc / BEng Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-5 years working experience in a technical environment
  • Experience in design and composite manufacturing
  • EN 9100 quality knowledge standard is a plus
  • Excellent command of English language, Dutch and/or French is a plus
  • You have a permit to work in the Netherlands
Working conditions
  • A one‑year contract (32-40 hours) with prospect to permanent employment
