Job summary

KVE Composites Repair in the Netherlands is seeking a senior quality and safety professional to safeguard EASA Part-145 operations and lead continuous improvement across the maintenance of composite aircraft components.

You will implement, maintain and audit internal procedures, identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and drive root-cause analysis. Travel to Asia and collaboration with the global team are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with composite materials is preferred.
• Able to work in an English-speaking environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute actively to maintenance of composite aircraft components and uphold quality standards.
• Implement and maintain quality and safety procedures in line with EASA Part-145 (and Part-IS).
• Collaborate with the KVE team to ensure quality and safety throughout all maintenance stages.
• Lead audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives, including root-cause analysis.

Your role

• Contribute actively to KVE’s ambition to deliver state‑of‑the‑art maintenance of composite aircraft components.
• Implement, and maintain quality and safety standards, as well as internal procedures, in accordance with EASA Part-145 (and Part-IS).
• Collaborate with the entire KVE Composites Repair team to ensure quality and safety throughout all stages of component maintenance.
• Occurrence and safety reporting (internal and external), plan and lead quality and safety audits, and drive investigations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you have a strong passion for continuous improvement within the aerospace industry. You bring at least 5 years of experience in aviation (Maintenance or Continuing Airworthiness). You possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis. You are accurate, proactive, and an effective communicator. You are able to identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and take decisive action.

In addition, you have:

• Hold a degree (or equivalent experience) in Aerospace, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Have experience with composite materials (preferred).
• Are comfortable working in an English‑speaking environment.
• Are willing to travel, including to countries in Asia.
• Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and to share knowledge.
• To be a Nominated Manager.
