Job summary

Neways Electronics International NV in the Netherlands is seeking a Test Support Engineer (focus on assy) to keep production running smoothly. You will analyze and resolve malfunctions in production machines and test equipment as part of the Test Engineering department.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and close collaboration with Test Engineers and suppliers.

Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
Willingness to work in a 2-shift system and be available for 40 hours weekly.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Investigate malfunctions in machines and test setups; coordinate with Test Engineers and suppliers for follow-up actions.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; keep detailed activity records and report to the Manager Test Engineering.
Participate in daily production start-up meetings to close action points.
Advise on halting production or rejecting products based on analyses.
Adjust machine parameters per instructions; report costs and potential investments.
Provide instructions to production staff on machine use and procedures.
Contribute to improvements of work instructions, routings, and processes.
Apply a multidisciplinary mindset and support team development with a helicopter view.
