Job summary

Neways Electronics International NV is seeking a Test Support Engineer (focus on assy) to analyze and resolve malfunctions in production machines and test equipment. You will work in the Test Engineering department to support production and drive improvements.

Ideal candidates are proactive, communicative, and analytical, with a completed MBO-level education (preferably Electrical Engineering) and willingness to work in a 2-shift system. Dutch and English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO-level education, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication in Dutch and English.
• Able to think multidisciplinary across the whole process.
• Proactive, communicative, social, supportive, good at prioritising and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Investigate malfunctions in machines or test setups and coordinate with Test Engineers for follow‑ups and supplier resolutions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and keep activity records for the Manager Test Engineering.
• Participate in daily production start-up meetings and advise on halting production or product rejection.
• Adjust machine parameters, report costs and potential investments, and explain processes to production staff.
• Help improve work instructions, routings, methods and procedures in consultation with Test Engineers.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary thinking and support team development with a helicopter view.
