Job summary

Visual Productions BV in Haarlem, the Netherlands, is seeking a Technical Support Representative to help customers use lighting controls. You will answer technical questions, provide occasional training, and contribute to user manuals.

You work alongside engineers and help shape tomorrow's architectural lighting controllers. The role is office-based (not WFH) with regular hours in an international environment.

Visual Productions is a unique company in the Netherlands. It is the only one that focuses purely on the design and development of solid-state lighting controls that are used in fixed installations. Our customers are mainly in hospitality, theaters, amusement parks, museums, music venues, retail and cruise ships. Our team of software and electronics engineers develops the controllers; we are always working on innovations and global projects. Our sales team is doing good business; therefore we need to grow the organization.

We are looking for a Technical Support Representative who helps customers use the lighting controls. Your work involves answering technical questions, but occasionally also providing training to a group of customers. You will also be responsible for the further development of the user manuals. A few times a year, Visual Productions sets up an exhibition stand at a trade fair. This is also a great place to provide customers with technical advice and of course a nice opportunity to bump into old acquaintances from the lighting industry.

You work side by side with our engineers. They develop the products partly based on your information. After all, you receive a lot of feedback from customer contact. You will be in a special position to contribute to the architectural lighting controllers of tomorrow. Testing new software releases is also part of the job description. Give the new software a try! Requirements:

• you are technical and you have experience with lighting controls
