Job summary

Highlite International BV in Kerkrade is seeking a Compliance Specialist to ensure product compliance with CE, Machinery Directive, EMC, LVD, RED, RoHS, REACH and PoP. You will assess products, packaging, labels and manuals for compliance and language accuracy.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, monitor statuses, and help implement new regulations while supporting Product IP and quality processes.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor degree in compliance, law, or a technical field.
• Analytically strong and comfortable with complex documents.
• Understands how to apply technical and legal information.
• Affinity with technology and products in the entertainment, audio and/or lighting industry.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a full-time Compliance Specialist for our headquarters in Kerkrade.

What You'll Do

As a Product Compliance Officer, you ensure our products comply with laws and regulations such as CE, Machinery Directive, EMC, LVD, RED, RoHS, REACH, and PoP. You assess products, packaging, labels, and manuals for compliance, language, and completeness.

You'll be the go-to person for both internal and external stakeholders regarding compliance. You'll answer questions, request documents, monitor statuses, and take action when needed, supported by Product IP.

You'll review reports and certificates and ensure the correct documents are published online. You'll collaborate with colleagues on technical files and stay up to date with regulations, developing plans to implement new legislation within the organization.

You'll advise Product Managers and management on compliance matters, identify new requirements, and contribute to the development and implementation of compliance policies and processes.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional who:

• Has a completed Bachelor degree, preferably in compliance, law, or a technical field
• Is analytically strong and comfortable with complex documents
• Understands how to apply technical and legal information
• Has an affinity with technology and products used in the entertainment, audio, and/or lighting industry
• Can work independently, proactively, and accurately
• Has strong command of English, both written and spoken and is able to communicate with our mainly Dutch speaking colleagues in English, Dutch or German. Willingness to learn Dutch is a plus.
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Product IP is a plus
• Has knowledge of CE, Machinery Directive, EMC, LVD, RED, RoHS, REACH, and PoP - or is willing to learn through internal training
