A global leader in standard switching power supplies, serving industrial automation, telecom, LED lighting and other technical markets, is looking for a motivated Technical Service Engineer to strengthen its European Technical Service Team.

Job Description

You will report to the Technical Service Manager and provide technical support to European customers. You will also work on product modifications and collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal solutions and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Support customers on technical issues including product selection, functionality, installation, and safety standards
• Propose and evaluate modifications to standard units to meet specific customer needs
• Maintain and manage internal product and technical databanks
• Assist Product Management in identifying new products or applications for existing products
• Travel to customers for face‑to‑face technical discussions or trainings
• Process field returns and repair defective units
• Perform root cause analysis based on user and operational conditions

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field
• Preferably 1+ year experience in power supply or related industry
• Strong knowledge of switch‑mode power supply theory and electronic components
• Strong communication skills; able to work in virtual teams
• Independent, responsible, and able to work under pressure; flexible schedule
• Fluent in English; Chinese and/or additional European languages are a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands
• Willingness to travel internationally
