Qualifications

• MBO+ level (or equivalent) in electronics, mechatronics, or related field.
• Hands-on technical experience in electronics and/or fine mechanics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Structured and accurate in following procedures.
• Independent, reliable and proactive mindset.
• Fluent English; Dutch or German a plus.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a product specialist.
• Willingness to travel internationally (future growth).
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers and international sales partners.
• Diagnose, repair and maintain high‑tech electronic and precision mechanical equipment.
• Calibrate hardness testers according to ISO and ASTM standards.
• Support software and firmware updates.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics and BOMs.
• Ensure high quality, accuracy and timely service work.
• Prepare service and calibration certificates and reports.
• Communicate repair findings and requirements internally.

For our Dutch headquarters in Maastricht, we are looking for Service engineers.

The Role

We are looking for motivated and technically skilled Service Engineers who are eager to learn and grow within an international technology environment.

In this role of Service Engineer, you will start in our Maastricht headquarters, where you will be trained extensively to become a specialist in our hardness testing equipment. Initially, your focus will be on workshop-based repairs, calibration, and customer support.

As your experience develops, you will have the opportunity to expand your role internationally—supporting customers and partners worldwide with installations, training, maintenance, and on-site service.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers and international sales partners
• Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of high-tech electronic and precision mechanical equipment
• Carry out calibration of hardness testers in accordance with ISO and ASTM standards
• Support software and firmware updates
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials
• Ensure high quality, accuracy, and timely completion of service work
• Prepare service reports, measurement reports, and calibration certificates
• Communicate technical findings and repair requirements internally

Your Profile

• MBO+ level (or equivalent) in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field
