Job summary

PSA BDP, a leading logistics provider, seeks a Team Leader Ocean LLP in Rotterdam to supervise a freight-forwarding team and ensure timely order handling and documentation. You will ensure KPI compliance, maintain customer SOPs, and mentor team members to deliver reliable, compliant services.

You will drive cross-training, resolve operational issues, and contribute to continuous improvements across customer accounts in a fast-paced port-centric environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding and knowledge of logistics documentation and relevant regulations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and service-oriented attitude.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Team leader Ocean LLP, you’ll be responsible for the smooth and timely handling of all orders, while also leading and supporting your team. You’ll work closely to ensure customer satisfaction, compliance with procedures and efficient daily operations.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders
• Oversee documentation processes, including SOP updates and invoice handling
• Monitor compliance with KPI’s service agreements and operational procedures
• Maintain and update SOPs and work instructions for each customer account
