Job summary

PSA BDP in Rotterdam seeks a Team Leader Ocean LLP to oversee order handling and lead a small team. You will ensure timely processing, documentation accuracy, and adherence to procedures while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Required 3–5 years in freight forwarding with strong organizational and leadership skills. Fluent English and Dutch are essential; proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding and knowledge of logistics procedures documentation and relevant regulations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (both written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and service oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders.
• Oversee documentation processes, including SOP updates and invoice handling.
• Monitor compliance with KPI’s service agreements and operational procedures.
• Maintain and update SOPs and work instructions for each customer account.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating where needed.
• Financial month closing checks.
• Coach, mentor and support team members.
• Identify and log quality issues, propose process improvements and implement agreed changes.
• Participate in cross-training to cover for colleagues during absences or peak workload.
• Facilitate regular team meetings in coordination with the Manager Operations.
