Job summary

ASML in Veldhoven is seeking a System Build Line Support Engineer (SILS) to provide first-line technical support for the NXE System Build team (Scanner). You will help resolve production issues quickly, support new product introductions, and contribute to factory output.

With a 2-shift schedule (Early/Late) and occasional weekend work, you will guide technicians, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate across internal teams to drive improvements and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical production experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of quality improvement methods and production processes.
• Ability to guide less experienced assemblers and coordinate technical activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to resolve production issues quickly.
• Execute operational improvements to reduce disturbances and enhance quality.
• Train and develop expertise within the work center.
• Support introduction of new products and share manufacturing know-how.
• Transfer hands-on knowledge to volume production and train operators.
• Analyze problems, identify root causes, and monitor corrective actions.
• Plan priorities and manage recovery sequences; collaborate with internal teams.
