Job summary

ASML in the Netherlands seeks an International Mechanical Install Engineer to install lithography systems at customer sites worldwide, with extensive travel (~70%). You will lead, troubleshoot, and collaborate with global teams to ensure high-quality installations and knowledge transfer.

The role requires hands-on mechatronics experience and strong English communication, with a bias toward a structured, safety-first approach. Expect shifts and relocation within the Veldhoven region as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechatronics, aerospace or automotive hands-on experience preferred.
• Experience in high-tech production or customer service environment required.
• Proven affinity with assembling and troubleshooting.
• A mix between gross and fine mechanics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installation, adjustment, commissioning of a complete machine.
• Install ASML NXE equipment at customer locations, including new features and prototypes.
• Perform complex adjustments, upgrades, diagnose problems with limited support.
• Answer customer questions and assist professionally.
• Transfer knowledge to local install teams and first/second line engineers.
• Prepare written technical reports and contribute to department improvements.
• Exhibits strong shift lead competencies to lead the engineering team inside the fab.
