Job summary

HID Global is seeking a System Engineer to lead the architecture for SDI’s products and to translate that architecture into optimal solutions, combining electronics, software and mechanical capabilities.

The role involves coordinating with Sales, Product Marketing, and engineering teams to translate customer demands into future-proof concepts and roadmaps while ensuring alignment with company standards across international projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Leadership and people management skills.
Experience in system design.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead determination system architecture for new products and processes by combining electronics, mechanics and software.
Translate and implement the architecture into concepts and solutions.
Stay on top of new technologies and apply where needed to IAI processes and products.
Translate roadmap and customer demand into future-proof concepts and architecture of new systems and units.
Recording and monitoring system specifications.
Collaborate with Product Marketing to create a long-term technology roadmap.
Support product marketing in discussions with customers about future developments.
