Job summary

HID Global is seeking a System Engineer to develop and maintain an architecture for SDI’s products and processes, translating architecture into optimal electronic, software and mechanical solutions.

You will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, support the sales process with concept explanations, and collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales to shape long-term technology roadmaps. International travel may be required, with strong communication in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Leadership and people management skills.
• Experience in system design.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead system architecture for new products and processes across electronics, mechanics and software.
• Lead multidisciplinary Engineering project teams and monitor progress.
• Support Sales by explaining concepts to customers and translate feedback into changes.
• Communicate with Product Marketing, Sales and customers about technology vision and developments.
• Propose system architectures to the Teamleader Engineering NPI for new products and processes.
