Job summary

HID is seeking a System Engineer to lead architecture for new products, integrating electronics, mechanics and software. You will translate concepts into concrete solutions and monitor system specifications across a global team.

You will collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales to shape roadmaps, support customers with demonstrations, and drive project progress in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• System design: Lead architecture for new products, integrating electronics, mechanics and software.
• Translate architecture into concepts and solutions; monitor system specs.
• Collaborate with product marketing to build a long-term technology roadmap.
• Support sales by explaining concepts and prototypes to customers and translating feedback into changes.
• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering project team and monitor progress.
• Identify and escalate deviations from the system architecture and propose fixes.
