Job summary

Aviko seeks a Sustainability Business Lead to connect sustainability with commercial opportunities across the value chain. You will translate ambitious sustainability goals into customer value, business growth and competitive advantage, reporting to the Sustainability Manager.

In collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Agro, Procurement and Supply Chain, you will develop business cases, drive cross-functional initiatives and embed sustainability into commercial strategy, delivering tangible value

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Economics, Sustainability, Agri & Food or related field.
• Around 3-5 years of experience in business development, commercial strategy or value chain management.
• Strong affinity with sustainability and the ambition to further develop your expertise.
• Experience developing business cases and commercial propositions.
• Experience working in cross-functional, international environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English. Dutch is preferred and German is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translating sustainability ambitions into commercially viable solutions.
• Identifying opportunities across the value chain and developing business cases.
• Embedding sustainability into our commercial strategy and customer value propositions.
• Co-developing and implementing Aviko’s commercial sustainability strategy.
• Supporting the Sales organisation in customer conversations, tenders and strategic accounts.
• Bringing together Marketing, Sales, Agro, Procurement and Supply Chain to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Managing sustainability projects from concept through implementation.
• Sharing knowledge and best practices to embed sustainability throughout the organisation.
• Collaborating with Royal Cosun colleagues to develop shared approaches and opportunities.
