Job summary

Aviko B.V. is seeking a Sustainability Business Lead to translate sustainability ambitions into commercially viable solutions across the value chain.

You will identify opportunities, develop business cases and embed sustainability into our commercial strategy, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Agro, Procurement and Supply Chain. You will report to the Sustainability Manager and work in an international environment, with a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, aimed at driving

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Business, Economics, Sustainability, Agri & Food or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, commercial strategy or value chain management.
• Strong affinity with sustainability and the ambition to further develop in this field.
• Experience developing business cases and commercial propositions.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional, international environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; Dutch preferred; German a plus.

• Co-develop and implement Aviko’s commercial sustainability strategy.

• Build business cases demonstrating both commercial and sustainability value.

• Support the Sales organisation in customer conversations, tenders and strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Agro, Procurement and Supply Chain to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Manage sustainability projects from concept through implementation.
• Share knowledge and best practices to embed sustainability throughout the organisation.
• Collaborate with Royal Cosun colleagues to develop shared approaches and opportunities.

To strengthen this ambition, we are looking for a Sustainability Business Lead.

In this newly created role, you will connect sustainability with commercial opportunities. Rather than focusing on reporting and compliance, you will help turn sustainability initiatives into customer value, business growth and competitive advantage.

You will report to the Sustainability Manager and work closely with colleagues across Global Marketing & Sales, Agro, Procurement and Supply Chain. You will also collaborate with colleagues across Royal Cosun to share knowledge and develop joint propositions.

• Collaborating with Royal Cosun colleagues to develop shared approaches and commercial opportunities.

You also bring:

• A Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Sustainability, Agri & Food or a related field.
• Around 3-5 years of experience in business development, commercial strategy or value chain management.
• A strong affinity with sustainability and the ambition to further develop your expertise in this field.
• Experience developing business cases and commercial propositions.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional, international environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English. Dutch is preferred and German is considered a plus.

Experience with topics such as climate, regenerative agriculture, Scope 3 or circularity is an advantage.
