Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Utrecht offers a Supply Chain eCommerce Intern role designed to give hands-on experience in a global coffee and tea company. You’ll report KPI data, oversee end-to-end order flow, and assist with consumer care escalation in a fast-moving international team.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Dutch BSc or MSc, fluent in English, and proficient in MS Office. The internship runs 4–5 days per week for 5–6 months, with 4 days in-office and 1 remote.

Responsibilities

• KPI reporting on daily, weekly and monthly basis using performance dashboards.
• Overseeing order flow from A to Z by coordinating with warehouses, IT teams, and local supply chain representatives.
• Day-to-day escalation management of consumer care and reporting risks when needed.

Job description

In this internship, you will enhance your understanding of the role that Supply Chain plays in an international eCommerce environment, and you will develop your communication skills in a complex matrix organisation.

Your key activities will be:

• KPI Reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis using our operational performance dashboards (Reporting, monitoring, analysing & improved suggestions)
• Overseeing our order flow from A to Z (Payments, open orders, stock allocation, on-time-dispatch, returns) by being in close contact with the warehouses, IT teams and local supply chain representatives
• Day-to-day escalation management of our Consumer care (Close contact with supervisors, identify and report risks when needed)

Qualifications

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• You must be enrolled in a BSc or MSc program at a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship and currently reside in the Netherlands
• Fluent English + solid MS Office skills (bonus points for experience in eCommerce)
• Proactive, curious, structured — but also fun to work with!
• Available 5–6 months, 4 or 5 days/week (4 in-office, 1 remote)
