About the role

As a Supervisor within our Inbound Operations team, you will be responsible for leading daily warehouse activities while creating an inclusive, supportive, and high-performing environment for a diverse workforce. You will oversee inbound processes, coordinate operational priorities, and ensure goods are received, processed, and stored accurately, safely, and efficiently.

This role combines people leadership with operational excellence. You will lead teams made up of both permanent and agency employees from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, helping to build engagement, maintain high service standards, and support a positive workplace culture. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to connect with people through different approaches and communication styles. You will work closely with fellow supervisors, operational leaders, and support functions to achieve customer expectations while driving continuous improvement and team development.

How you will contribute

• Support employee development, succession planning, onboarding, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Take ownership of improvement opportunities, proactively identifying solutions and driving actions rather than waiting for direction.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, productivity, service levels, and employee engagement.
• Provide leadership coverage and operational support when required to ensure business continuity.

What you will bring

• Experience leading people within a warehouse, logistics, transport, distribution, manufacturing, or similar operational environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, coach, and adapt your approach to different individuals, teams, and cultural backgrounds.
• Experience working with operational KPIs, reporting tools, warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Excel to support performance management.
