NewPort Tank Containers is seeking a Supervisor Export to lead the Export team and oversee daily logistics activities. You will coach personnel, monitor KPIs, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards for hazardous shipments.

The role requires experience in tank transport or logistics, strong leadership, and fluency in Dutch and English. A full-time engagement in the Netherlands with competitive compensation is offered.

As Supervisor Export, you will lead the Export team (approximately 10 colleagues) and ensure that processes run smoothly and targets are met. You will coach and motivate your employees, monitor the workflow, and actively manage efficiency and KPIs. In doing so, you will never lose sight of the customer: customized service and optimal customer satisfaction are central to you.

What does your day look like?

You start the day with a quick check-in with your team. What\'s happening today? What are the priorities and are there any bottlenecks? You discuss ongoing projects, provide guidance, and offer support where necessary. Then you dive into the figures: KPIs, lead times, and performance. Where are the opportunities to work smarter or more efficiently?

Mid-morning, you get involved in a complex customer order involving hazardous substances. You quickly liaise with internal departments and external parties, monitor regulations, and ensure that everything runs safely and correctly. In between, you coach a colleague on how to approach a difficult customer case—constructively, positively, and solution-oriented.

After lunch, you consult with management about process improvements and planning for the coming period. You know how to represent your team\'s interests well and translate strategic choices into daily practice.

At the end of the day, you take another tour of the department. Everything is under control. You finish with a sense of satisfaction: today, you not only achieved results, but also helped your team grow. Tomorrow is another day!

What are we looking for in you?

• You have relevant work experience in tank transport and/or logistics, preferably in a managerial role.
• You have at least a high school diploma or higher education level of working and thinking.
• You are independent, stress-resistant, and enjoy working in a team.
• You are critical, but always maintain a positive and motivating attitude.
• You are solution-oriented, stakeholder-focused, and do not shy away from difficult conversations.
• You are proficient in Excel and use data to analyze processes and performance.
• You are available full-time.
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and English.
