Job summary

Arvato in Lelystad is seeking a Supervisor to lead and optimize one of our warehouse departments. You will drive daily operations, meet KPIs and mentor your team in a modern, highly automated warehouse setting.

The role involves two shifts (early and late) with an additional shift allowance, a permanent contract possibility, and a package including a company laptop and phone, travel allowance, and pension plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Supervisor in logistics or warehouse operations.
• Experience with SAP or ERP/WMS systems.
• Proven leadership and strong communication skills.
• Willing to work in a two-shift operation, with night periods if needed.

Responsibilities

YOUR TASKS

As a Supervisor, you are responsible for leading and optimizing one of our warehouse departments. You ensure daily operational KPIs are achieved while continuously developing your team and driving operational excellence. You report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating, and developing your operational team;
• Monitoring and steering daily KPIs related to productivity, quality, and planning;
• Leading daily stand-up meetings and coordinating workforce planning with the Workforce Planning team;
• Identifying and implementing process improvements within a highly automated warehouse environment;
• Coaching team members and supporting their professional development;
• Working in an international and diverse environment where automation, data, and system-driven operations are at the heart of the business.

You will work in a two-shift operation with early and late weekday shifts. In return for working shifts, you will receive an additional shift allowance.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a strong and motivated Supervisor who enjoys working in a logistics environment.

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level;
• At least 1 year of experience as a Supervisor, or several years as an Assistant Supervisor;
• Experience in logistics or warehouse operations;
• Experience with systems such as SAP or other ERP/WMS systems;
• Willing to work in shifts (including temporary night periods);
• Good leadership and communication skills;
• Able to improve processes and work with data.
