Job summary

NEW YORKER Maastricht is looking for a Store Supervisor to be the frontline lead when the store manager is away. You will open/close the store, manage daily admin, and ensure KPIs and stock targets are met.

You will coach and develop the team on the shop floor, uphold the New Yorker concept with strong product knowledge, and contribute to a dynamic, fashion-focused retail environment in the heart of Maastricht.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a team (supervisor/ keyholder) preferably in (fashion) retail or hospitality.
• Flexible attitude and thrives in a dynamic environment.
• Team player with empathy and a hands-on, service-oriented mindset.
• Passion for fashion and identification with the NEW YORKER brand.
• Ability to converse in Dutch or English; German skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• You are the first point of contact for employees in the absence of the store manager and assistant store manager.
• You are responsible for opening and closing the store and handling daily administration.
• You ensure that the KPIs are achieved.
• You monitor sales and stock results.
• You lead and coach your team on the job to motivate and develop them.
• You uphold the NEW YORKER concept with commercial insight and product knowledge.

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED

• Experience in managing a team (supervisor/ keyholder), preferably in (fashion) retail or hospitality;
• A flexible attitude and loves a dynamic working environment;
• A team player with empathy, a hands-on mentality, communicative and customer and service oriented;
• Passion for fashion and identifies with the New Yorker brand;
• You have no trouble entering into a conversation in Dutch or English, but if you speak German, that is certainly a plus.
