Job summary

NEW YORKER in Hoofddorp, Netherlands is seeking a Store Manager with at least 2 years of experience leading a team in retail or hospitality. You will drive sales, stock results, KPIs and budgets while coaching and developing your staff to deliver excellent customer service.

We offer coaching, on-the-job training, external courses (BBL Retail Manager/ Retail Specialist), internal trainings, annual team events, a 30% staff discount, and travel expense reimbursement from 10km.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as store manager with managing a team in (fashion) retail or hospitality.
• Flexible attitude and thrives in a dynamic working environment.
• Team player with empathy, hands-on mentality, communicative and customer-focused.
• A passion for fashion, knowledge of trends and identification with the New Yorker brand.
• Dutch or English communication is essential; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sales, stock results, achieving KPIs and monitoring budgets.
• Responsible for personnel planning and personnel policy including recruitment, absenteeism and staffing efficiency.
• Motivate, inspire and develop your team through on-the-job training and coaching.
• Ensure the New Yorker concept is implemented with commercial insight, keeping the store looking representative.

• Responsible for sales,stock results, achieving the KPIs and monitoring the budgets;
• Responsible for personnel planning and personnel policy in which recruitment, absenteeism, striving for optimal staffing and good productivity play a major role;
• An example for your managers and team. You motivate, inspire and develop your team through training and coaching on 'the job';
• Responsible for monitoring the New Yorker concept and because of your commercial insight, creativity and product knowledge, the store always looks representative.

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED

• At least 2 years of experience as store manager with managing a team, preferably in (fashion) retail or hospitality;
• A flexible attitude and loves a dynamic working environment;
• A team player with empathy, a hands-on mentality, communicative and customer and service oriented;
• A passion for fashion ,knows the trends and identifies with the New Yorker brand;
• No difficulties to start a conversation in Dutch or English, but if you speak German then that is definitely a plus.
