Job summary

NEW YORKER in the Netherlands is seeking a store supervisor for its Heerhugowaard location. You will lead the team, ensure daily store operations, and uphold the NEW YORKER concept with product knowledge and commercial sense.

You will coach your team, monitor sales and stock, and work closely with management to deliver excellent customer service, achieve KPIs, and support ongoing training. Fluency in Dutch or English is required, German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a team (supervisor/ keyholder) in fashion retail or hospitality.
• Flexible attitude and dynamic working environment.
• Team player with empathy, hands-on mentality, communicative and customer/service oriented.
• Passion for fashion and identifies with the NEW YORKER brand.
• Dutch or English speaking; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact in the absence of the store manager.
• Open and close the store and handle daily administration.
• Ensure KPIs are achieved.
• Monitor sales and stock results.
• Motivate, inspire and develop the team through training and coaching on the job.

THIS IS THE JOB

• You are the first point of contact for the employees in the absence of the store manager and assistant store manager;
• You are responsible for opening and closing the store and take care of the daily administration;
• You ensure that the KPIs are achieved;
• You keep an eye on the sales and stock results;
• You are an example for your team. You motivate, inspire and develop your team through training and coaching on the job;
• You guard the New Yorker concept and because of your commercial insight, creativity and product knowledge, the store always looks representative.

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED

• Experience in managing a team (supervisor/ keyholder), preferably in (fashion) retail or hospitality;
• A flexible attitude and loves a dynamic working environment;
• A team player with empathy, a hands-on mentality, communicative and customer and service oriented;
• Passion for fashion and identifies with the New Yorker brand;
• You have no trouble entering into a conversation in Dutch or English, but if you speak German, that is certainly a plus.
