Job Summary

As the first point of contact for employees when the store manager and assistant store manager are absent, you will oversee daily operations, including opening and closing the store, managing administration, and ensuring KPIs and sales targets are achieved.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for employees in the absence of the store manager and assistant store manager.
• Responsible for opening and closing the store and daily administration.
• Ensure that KPIs are achieved.
• Monitor sales and stock results.
• Motivate, inspire and develop the team through training and coaching on the job.
• Guard the New Yorker concept, maintaining commercial insight, creativity and product knowledge so the store always looks representative.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a team (supervisor/keyholder), preferably in fashion retail or hospitality.
• MBO/HBO work and thinking level.
• Flexible attitude and enjoyment of a dynamic working environment.
• Team player with empathy, a hands‑on mentality and communication skills, customer and service oriented.
• Passion for fashion and identification with the New Yorker brand.
• Proficiency in Dutch or English; German is a plus.
