Mind Your Step Recruitment is partnering with an international naval architecture firm to recruit a Structural Engineer for offshore, dredging, and yacht design projects. The role covers conceptual and detailed design phases of complex maritime structures, emphasizing teamwork and hands-on problem solving.

Ideal candidates hold a Marine Technology degree, 0–3 years of experience, and are fluent in Dutch. The position offers hybrid working options, a pension allowance, and a collaborative

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Technology or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Pragmatic, structured, and accurate mindset.
• Proficiency in the Dutch language.
• Stakeholder management skills and a hands-on, proactive attitude.
• Living in the Netherlands.
• Not in need of sponsorship (company is not listed with IND).

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and innovative structural designs for maritime projects.
• Perform calculations and verifications, and support FEA activities (experience with Ansys is a plus).
• Collaborate closely with project managers, fellow engineers, and stakeholders.
• Work in a dynamic team on projects ranging from floating units to complete vessel structures.
• Assist in planning, quality checks, and technical documentation.
• Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture.

As a Structural Engineer, you’ll be involved in both conceptual and detailed design phases, working on technically complex structures that push your creativity and problem-solving skills to the next level.
