Lead Engineer – Offshore Structures
Are you ready to take the lead in designing and coordinating complex offshore structures? As a Lead Engineer you will guide a team of structural engineers and oversee the full engineering process for fixed offshore structures from concept and basic design to detailed execution. You combine your technical expertise and leadership skills to deliver high‑quality results for international clients in the offshore wind sector.
Your responsibilities
- Leading and coaching a team of structural engineers in the design of offshore structures such as jackets, monopiles, and transition pieces
- Developing concept, basic, and detail designs for primary and secondary steel components
- Performing and reviewing structural analyses
- Managing project progress, planning, and coordination with project management and clients
- Providing technical guidance, consultancy, and quality assurance across multiple projects
- Preparing engineering reports and design documentation

Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering of offshore structures and 2 years in a lead or similar role
- Experience with jackets, monopiles, or topsides for offshore wind or oil & gas structures
- Proficient with SACS and familiar with Ansys, Femap, Usfos, or GRLWEAP
- Strong understanding of relevant norms and standards (DNV, ISO, EC)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Solution-oriented, detail-focused, and able to motivate and manage a team
Offer
- Salary up to €7,000 gross per month, depending on experience
