Job summary

Multi.engineering seeks a Structural Analyst in Vlissingen to support naval ship projects. You will perform global structural assessments, design checks, and liaise with suppliers and regulators to ensure compliant, robust ship structures.

The role requires five+ years in ship structures, hands-on FEA/ CAD skills (ANSYS, NX, FEMAP, NUPAS/Catia), and excellent English. Eligible for a 6-month contract with extensions and relocation assistance if needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a technical field, prefer Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least five years of experience in ship structures.
  • Proficiency with structural software (FEA) and CAD systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive global structural assessments of ships.
  • Conduct design checks and reviews while supporting outsourced packages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, regulators, and owners to integrate components.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.
  • Develop and improve engineering standards, methodologies, and processes.
  • Evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations and integrate data into ship designs.

Profile
Do you have it in you as a Structural Analyst?
  • You minimally have a bachelor degree in a technical field, by preference Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least five years of experience in ship structures.
  • You are familiar with the structural and FEA software, like ANSYS, NX, or FEMAP, and CAD systems such as NUPAS (3D), 3DX, or Catia
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written).
